The Backwashable Filters can be used for several different applications including :

Acid Neutralization where the pH of the incoming water is low enough (high acidity) to cause corrosion & "metallic taste" problems. The neutralization process will contribute a small amount of hardness to the water.

The removal of Chlorine, Taste & Odour in water. The use of Highly Activated Carbon media with large surface area and a balanced, durable pore structure offers superior capacity reduction of chlorine in addition to other "musty" or "earthy" odours that can be associated with certain water supplies.

The removal of Turbidity in water. The use of Filter Z™ media offers increased loading capacity and improved 5 micron level filtration when compared to traditional multi-media and sand filtration techniques.
